Margy and the DS4J DT

This is going to be a really fun week so make sure to check Facebook EVERY MORNING and join us in the fun :)

Here's my card for the celebration....I hope you like it!

I had a vision of what I wanted using acetate and foil, but like many things, it wasn't flawlessly executed LOL I am not familiar with working with foil and for some reason didn't take in every place, so it looked kind of grungy and imperfect.  At first I wasn't sure that I liked it, but it grew on me quickly. I liked how rough it ended up looking :)  I colored the streamers with Copics and used the same colors on my balloons, then fussy cut everything (I admit that I am not the best fussy cutter LOL) I added a few spots of Perfect Pearls to add more dimension and that was that!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Don't forget to head over to DS4J's Facebook page to join in on all the fun and make sure to stop back here on Tuesday, April 21 and leave a comment!  I'm going to be choosing a random winner from my comments for a Guest Designer spot :)

  2. I think it looks great. Grungy is good. Like the idea of using the acetate. Haven't tried foiling yet - have it but haven't put it to use.
    thanks for sharing.
